Crypto and Web3 Company Setup in the UAE
The UAE is one of the few places with clear, dedicated rules for virtual assets. We help founders choose the right regulator, licence the right activities and build a compliant business.

Overview
Regulated, bankable, built to last
Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), Abu Dhabi Global Market and the Dubai International Financial Centre each regulate virtual assets in their own way. Some projects need a full licence; others, such as software or NFT studios, may not.
We map your business model against each framework, recommend the right route and manage the application with legal and compliance partners, from entity setup to licence and bank account.

Do I need a VARA licence?
If you provide virtual asset services in or from Dubai (outside DIFC), such as exchange, broker-dealer, custody, advisory or management, you generally need a VARA licence. Pure technology providers may not.
How long does licensing take?
Regulatory licensing usually takes several months, depending on the activities, the completeness of your file and regulator feedback.
Can a crypto company open a bank account?
Yes, although banks apply enhanced due diligence. A licensed, well-documented business has a much better chance of approval.
