Overview

Not every crypto business needs the same licence

A blockchain developer, an NFT studio, a crypto exchange and a token issuer each have very different licensing needs. Some activities only need a commercial licence in a suitable free zone; others need full regulatory authorisation from VARA, ADGM’s FSRA or DIFC’s DFSA.

We start with your business model, identify which activities are regulated and design the setup, combining the commercial licence, the regulatory route and banking in one plan.

If you provide virtual asset services in or from Dubai outside DIFC, usually yes. Non-regulated tech activities may not.

Yes, companies can hold virtual assets, subject to accounting, tax and banking considerations.
