Overview

Pick the structure that fits how you will do business

Where you register your company decides who you can sell to, how many visas you can sponsor, what office you need and how you are taxed. A consultancy selling to clients abroad has very different needs from a trading company with a warehouse in Dubai.

We map your activity, clients, shareholders and budget, then recommend mainland, free zone or offshore, with an honest view of the trade-offs and a clear quote before you commit.

What is the difference between mainland and free zone?

A mainland company is licensed by the emirate’s economic department and can trade anywhere in the UAE. A free zone company is licensed by a free zone authority and trades internationally or within its zone, with different office and visa rules.

Most free zones and many mainland activities have no paid-up capital requirement, although a share capital figure is stated in your documents. Some regulated activities need a set amount.

Once your licence and documents are issued, we prepare your bank application. Banks run their own checks, which can take from a few days to a few weeks.
